Minimum Qualifications

An Associate degree is required. One to three years’ experience working in the field of accounting or cashiering is required. Must have experience with Microsoft products, including Word and Excel and strong communication skills. Organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy are imperative.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the Colleague computer system is preferred. National Career Readiness Certificate and bilingual are preferred.

Position Description

This Accounting Technician is responsible for receipting all funds received by the institution. The Technician will reconcile funds and prepare them for deposit. This person will assist students with account balances and payment plans. This person will assist with various accounting functions to include student and sponsorship billing, set-off debt transmissions and will perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Finance/Chief Financial Officer to ensure the efficient operation of the department.
