Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree from a regionally accredited institition in Information Technology, Information Science, Computer Science or similar degree with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hour credits in Information Technology.  Strong knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

  • Programming languages (C++, C#, Java, Python)
  • Database management software (Access, SQL Server, Oracle)
  • Web technologies (HTML5, WordPress, Adobe Dreamweaver)

Position Description

The adjunct CIS Instructor will plan, organize, and teach classes in the Information Technology curriclum programs as assigned to ensure that student learning outcomes are consistent with program learning outcomes and the mission of the college; maintains necessary records and submits all reports in a timely manner, prepares and revises course syllabi; other duties as assigned.  Use available instructional technologies.
