Diploma in Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration from a regionally accredited college or university or specialized training at the level required to meet the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) for academic and professional preparation of the assigned area of instruction.
North Carolina H-3-1 Contracting License and Universal CFC Certification
Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration; Licensing: Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification Proctor: North Carolina State Board of Refrigeration Examiners. North Carolina State Board of Refrigeration Examiners, North American Technician Excellence (NATE) Testing Proctor, and North Carolina HVAC Continuing Education Provider, five (5) years of relevant full-time work experience in residential or commercial Air Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration, and instructional experiences in higher education.
Adjunct Faculty are professional, credentialed educators with the primary responsibility of providing quality learning experiences in credit or non-credit courses in their area of expertise for all Rockingham Community College (RCC) students. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for providing learning experiences on the main campus and off-site. Adjunct Faculty are responsible for but are not limited to planning, organizing, promoting, and teaching appropriate courses, to include online and hybrid. Adjunct Faculty are expected to perform all instruction-related duties in a timely manner and in accordance with the mission, policies, and procedures of the College, the North Carolina Community College System, and with appropriate accrediting entities where applicable.
