Minimum Qualifications

-  Associate degree in Marketing, Communication, Education or other related field; preferred Bachelor’s degree
-   Upholds all FERPA regulations
-   One to three years of experience in recruiting and/or admissions preferred
-   Ability to work independently while supporting a team effort
-   Excellent written and oral communication skills
-   Good interpersonal skills

Position Description

-  Assists with developing and implementing a comprehensive recruitment and enrollment management strategy for the College
-   Develops and maintains professional relationships with counselors and other high school personnel, community agency personnel, and other entities and organizations (CACRAO) that may assist in communicating the educational opportunities offered by the College
-   Meets with prospective students, family members, and representatives of the community, and other organizations providing information about Brunswick Community College, its programs, and services
-  Communicates with prospective students via in-person or by phone, e-mail, written correspondence, through social media, tours, and/or recruiting events
-   Establishes and manages a pool of prospective students and advises/counsels students on admissions requirements
-   Conducts campus tours for visiting prospective students, families, and other groups
-   Assists with monitoring the receipt of admission documents and assists in notifying potential students of outstanding admission requirements
-   Assist in planning and participates in on-campus and off-campus recruitment events at high schools, college fairs, and other local and community programs/events
-   Works closely with the Admissions Coordinator and assists with the development of enrollment marketing publications and communications including letters, brochures, website postings, electronic mail and other publications
-  Works closely with college administrators, career coaches, faculty, advisors, success coaches, and staff to maintain extensive knowledge of the College’s program offerings, financial and scholarship programs, as well as admission requirements
-   Possess working knowledge of articulation agreements between the College and higher education institutions
-   Attends meetings, conferences, and workshops to stay current on issues relating to admissions; attends college meetings and may serve on college committees as needed
-   Participates in the College’s Summer Orientation program and assists with student advising activities during peak registration times -   Performs other related tasks as required
