Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Three (3) years’ human resources experience involving employee relations and HR programs administration

Preferred Qualifications

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification
  • Work experience in higher education organizational structure
  • Experience using Colleague or similar HR/Payroll solutions
  • Title IX experience

POSITION

Assistant Director of Human Resources

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

The Assistant Director of Human Resources will serve as the main HR contact for employees and provide HR guidance and support to all Craven Community College offices. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment/selection, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.

  • Three (3) years’ human resources experience involving employee relations and HR programs administration
