POSITION
Assistant Director of Human Resources
OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY
The Assistant Director of Human Resources will serve as the main HR contact for employees and provide HR guidance and support to all Craven Community College offices. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruitment/selection, onboarding, benefits administration, employee relations, performance management, policy implementation, and employment law compliance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- Three (3) years’ human resources experience involving employee relations and HR programs administration
- Preferred: PHR or SHRM-CP certification
SALARY/BENEFITS
- Hiring range is $40,000 - $45,000
- Benefits include paid holidays, annual and sick leave, medical insurance, and participation in the N.C. State Retirement System.
