Minimum Qualifications
Associate Degree in Automotive Technology, A.S.E. Certification, and a minimum of three years work experience in automotive service.
Communication skills, both oral and written, are necessary.
Must have expert efficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
Applicants not meeting this minimum requirement will not be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Ford MLR Training Certification or willingness to enroll in and complete Ford MLR courses to receive certification.
Teaching experience at the community college or four-year college. On-line teaching experience.

Fayetteville Technical Community College is seeking qualified applicants for this position. Duties
Provide quality automotive course instruction for day, evening, and weekend face-to-face and online classes related to diagnosis and/or repair of all mechanical, electrical, and on-board computer systems.
Assist in program recruitment.
Advise and register students who are in the program.
Monitor and improve student retention, persistence, and completion.
Maintain class records.
Incorporate latest instructional technologies and interactive learning technologies in course delivery.
Assist in the design and update of course syllabi, curriculum review, revision, and development.
Provide input on program review, assessment, and other departmental activities.
Maintain accurate scholastic and membership records of students enrolled in classes and prepare and submit reports as required.
Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient laboratory environment.
Provide quality customer service to students, faculty, and staff.
Continually develop and improve skills through professional development.
Participate in faculty committees and other activities as assigned.
