Position Description
Responsible for instruction in the culinary arts, in addition to the creation and revision of lesson plans. Responsible for lecturing in a classroom and teaching in a commercial kitchen, as well as accurate record keeping of student attendance and academic progress. Associate’s degree and demonstrated competencies in the culinary arts discipline and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the food service industry. Excellent knife skills, effective communication skills, and a substantial knowledge of the culinary arts, required. Teaching experience with lesson plan writing, instructional menu development, and familiarity with purchasing, preferred.
Salary: Based on education and experience.
Start Date: August, 2019.
