Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s degree with coursework relevant to data analysis, database management, research, evaluation.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

1.Problem-solving, acute attention to detail, and critical thinking skills;
2.Report development for data analysis using software such as SAS, SPSS, Zogotech Estudias, IStrategy, Business Objects, etc.;
3.Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, meeting management, and effective oral and written communication/public relation skills;
4.Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint;
5.Ability to think creatively and put ideas into action;
6.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
7.Personal integrity, honesty, and the ability to maintain confidentiality; and
8.Understanding of the mission, goals, and objectives of a community college.

Essential Functions

The Data Coordinator is responsible for supporting the College’s research and evaluation activities, including but not limited to, College initiatives (quality enhancement plan and strategic plan), assessment, planning, and special projects. In general, this work includes extracting data from the College’s student information system (Colleague); compiling and organizing data for reports, meetings, and presentations. This position works with various College departments College-wide.

Job Duties

1. Provide data to support enrollment management and submission of grant applications, and to fulfill requests from various departments and community partners;
2. Assist with the College’s planning and budgeting process and other institutional assessment-related activities such as program and service area review;
3. Support the College’s student evaluation of curriculum instruction process;
4. Assist with ad hoc survey administration including College-related satisfaction surveys;
5. Coordinate the publication of the College’s Profile and other data resources;
6. Provide data to satisfy federal, state, and other reporting requirements; 
7. Prepare enrollment, persistence, and graduation reports in various formats (e.g., tables, charts, narratives);
8. Provide assistance with data analysis and interpretation;
9. Serve on various College committees as assigned;
10. Support the various activities of REAP; and,
11. Perform additional duties or activities as assigned by the division vice president and/or the president.
