The Dental Hygiene Instructor is responsible for teaching an average of 15-22 credit hours per semester to include classroom, laboratory, and clinical instruction. The instructor will recruit and advise; participate in required special events including college and faculty meetings, orientation, and graduation; participate in curriculum development, program evaluation and planning, accreditation, achievement of learning outcomes, and committee assignments. The Dental Hygiene Instructor will demonstrate a commitment to creating a culture that encourages excellence, professional development, continued competence in the area of responsibility, and an understanding of the diverse backgrounds of students. The candidate will perform all other duties as assigned by the Dental Department Chair and the Dean of Allied Health and Public Services.
