Minimum Qualifications

The EOC Administrative Assistant/Data Specialist must have a minimum of an Associate Degree in Business, Secretarial Science or related field; minimal of two years’ experience in performing duties as a specialist in information systems; knowledge of Microsoft Access, Blumen, and/or the database management systems; knowledge of and/or experience in TRIO Programs; ability to maintain an annual events calendar for the project; preference given to individuals who are from low income/first generation backgrounds

Position Description

The Administrative Assistant/Data Specialist is a Part-Time position which reports directly to the EOC Director. The employee will not work more than 25 hours per week. The Administrative Assistant/Data Specialist assists in maintaining all records related to project activities, including the coordination of computerized fiscal, personnel, purchasing, payroll, and monthly expenditure records, must have strong communication skills, planning, and organizational skills, proficient in computer skills, must display competency with instruction in applications of technology, and have a valid driver’s license.
