Minimum Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Collision Repair & Refinishing or other related degree with ICAR or ASE certifications and 5 years work experience.  Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational skills required. Proficiency with commonly used computer software in the automotive industry required. 

Preferred Qualifications

Community college or post-secondary teaching experience preferred.

Position Description

The position requires teaching 3-12 contact hours per semester in the evening between the hours of 6-10 p.m.; developing curriculum; assisting in evaluation and acquisition of instructional materials, equipment, and textbooks; participating in required special events including faculty meetings, and orientation; participating in planning processes; assessing student learning outcomes. This position demonstrates a commitment to creating a culture that encourages excellence, professional development, continued competence in area of responsibility and an understanding of diverse backgrounds of students and employees.
