A full-time faculty position at Davidson-Davie Community College is primarily focused on teaching and learning, academic excellence and student success.  In addition, a faculty member is responsible for engaging in professional development and promoting the College mission, vision, and values.  Faculty employed by the College are responsible for the following:

  1. Ensuring timely, consistent, and feedback and accurate record keeping in support of student success.

  4. Engaging collaboratively with colleagues by using data-informed decision-making to continually improve courses and programs.

  6. Maintaining currency in one’s teaching discipline and in the issues of higher education.
  7. Teach at various instructional sites and in multiple delivery formats as needed to meet the scheduling needs of students and programs.
