• Mow, trim, clean and maintain college grounds including grass, trees and hedges; plant flowers, trees and shrubs as requested; sow grass seeds; extract weeds and grass from flower beds; collect and dispose of leaves and other debris
• Assists with the exterior repair and maintenance of college buildings including roofs and painting; repair and install fences
• Identify and fill holes and potholes; ensure filler is safely applied and in compliance Operate a variety of maintenance equipment including tractors, trucks, edgers and weed eaters; perform preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
• Assist with the inspection of the college grounds including parking lots; pick up and dispose of trash and debris; transport debris to local landfill
• Assist with the transport of furniture in and out of buildings
• Assist with the transport of outgoing mail; may travel to other agencies and act as a courier

Normal work hours Monday - Friday 6am - 3:30pm

Summer work hours 10 hour days Monday - Thursday OR 9 hour days Monday - Thursday, 4 hours on Friday
