Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution with at least 18 graduate hours in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related technology field. Prior teaching experience required.  Special consideration will be granted to applicants with industry credentials such as CompTIA Security +, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network +, Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), and/or various Microsoft certifications.  Candidates without these types of credentials will be required to acquire them on an agreed upon schedule.     

Preferred Qualifications

Special consideration will be granted to applicants with industry credentials such as CompTIA Security +, CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network +, Cisco Certified Networking Associate (CCNA), and/or various Microsoft certifications. Teaching experience at the college level preferred.

POSITION

Information Technology/Cyber Security Faculty, Full-Time (9-months)

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The primary role of a full-time faculty member is to focus on academic excellence

and student success, and encourage lifelong learning by working collaboratively with college stakeholders to support the mission of the college. Full-time faculty members ensure the quality and integrity of the college’s academic programs through teaching and student learning, professional development, and college service.  This position reports directly to the Dean of Career Programs.  Full-time Career Programs faculty in this position teach 18-20 hours per semester.
