Minimum Qualifications
Education Requirements:
Required: Master’s degree in Anatomy/Physiology or Biology, or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline of Anatomy/Physiology or Biology.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
Required: Competence in oral and written communication skills necessary for effective teaching and excellent computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Successful teaching experience in a community/technical college or similar post-secondary institution. Online teaching experience.
Position Description
Full time 9 month faculty position teaching courses in Anatomy/Physiology & Biology.
The College desires candidates with on-going professional development interests, love of teaching, and enthusiasm for campus and college committees and activities. Responsibilities include teaching, curriculum development, development of student learning outcomes and assessment, serving on college committees, advising and registering students, maintaining office hours, and fulfilling all the duties and responsibilities of instructors as required. Teaching assignments may include day, evening, online, and/or hybrid classes.
