Minimum Qualifications
Requires Masters in English or Master plus 18 graduate hours in English from a regionally accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional 18 graduate hours in History or Spanish and community college teaching experience preferred.
Position Description
Under direction, teach 18-21 credit hours per week in the area of English and History or Spanish. Maintain approximately eight hours of office time per week for student counseling and planning purposes; serve as an academic advisor for students; recruit students, and perform variety of other related duties; serve in various capacities to realize the College’s mission of student success; be versatile in teaching and assessment methods, proficient in technology, and open to change; and be passionate about learning and self-improvement.
