- Experience teaching or training a plus.
- Must be a superb, student-oriented teacher and communicator able to work with adults with a variety of academic abilities and backgrounds.
- Must be committed to the delivery of instruction using a variety of technologies, including teaching on-line.

Position Description
Position: Machining/Mechanical/Industrial Technology Instructor (Full-time)
Position Description: The primary responsibility of the position is to insure that program graduates are professionally prepared as entry-level industrial maintenance technicians capable of making significant contributions in manufacturing facilities. The students in this program will develop basic foundational skills and understanding in electrical and mechanical control systems.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Machining Technology, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related field required.
- Experience teaching or training a plus.
- Must be a superb, student-oriented teacher and communicator able to work with adults with a variety of academic abilities and backgrounds.
- Must be committed to the delivery of instruction using a variety of technologies, including teaching on-line.
Duties:
- Instruct classes within the Machining and/or Mechatronics Engineering Technology curriculum on the Main Campus and other campus sites, as directed.
- Establish relationships with community partners and industry leaders in order to promote the program and facilitate opportunities for students.
- Serve as faculty advisor to students as assigned and be available on all designated registration days.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President for Instruction.
Salary Range: In accordance with the College’s Compensation Plan.
Estimated Range: $38,103 - $39,391
Work Schedule: Nine month Contract/Fall and Spring Semesters. At least thirty hours per week on campus, including 5-office hours, with a minimum of 18 semester credit hours of assigned classes.
