Statement of Primary Purpose

Provide instructional services related to the Nursing Assistant program.

Classification

Curriculum and Continuing Ed faculty, part time, adjunct

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

 1.  Perform instructional duties as assigned

 2.  Keep current on nursing assistant  

 3.  Keep all teaching materials updated; 

 4.  Assist with orientation when needed to new classes   

 5.  Keep accurate student records including roster, clinical Evaluation Appendix A, answer sheets to all tests and quizzes with site number and test score, any make-up assignments.

  6.  Make sure to inform Administrative Assistant of any changes in class schedules or of any student that drops

  7.   Administer six-hour mock test    

  8.   Answer and returning student calls and messages

Additional Duties and Responsibilities

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education   

Associate's Degree required        

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Knowledge and Skills    

Teaching experience preferred

Long term care experience preferred

Licensing Requirement

Unencumbered North Carolina RN license.

NC Driver’s License
