Bachelor’s Degree. Some knowledge of assessment of disadvantaged populations. Ability to communicate effectively with participants and supporting agencies, community, constituents, parents, and target area schools. Some experience in counseling or instruction. Some experience with low-income, minority, and disadvantaged populations. Some experience in group and/or individual workshop development and presentation. Flexible scheduling to include travel and overnight. Reliable transportation.
Master’s Degree; Bilingual; Career Readiness Certificate (CRC); Some computer application and word processing experience; Bilingual.
Implement recruitment and orientation of participants into the program from the assigned target area; oversee participant selection process by working with middle and high school principals, counselors, teachers, and local/state agencies in the target area; establish and maintain a liaison with designated community agencies and schools; visit target schools regularly to assure that all communications concerning the program and the participants are clear and consistent.
