• A Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in History
A Master’s degree and at least 18 graduate semester hours in History.
• Prior experience in teaching at post-secondary level is preferred
To teach courses in History to college students through lecture, demonstration, and laboratory exercises, handouts, responding to questions and testing. The course load may include World Civilizations I & II and American History I & II.
Employees within this class are distinguished from the Program Director and Full-time Faculty by the performance of basic and general instructional duties. Employees at this level receive instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise.
