Minimum Qualifications

An Associate Degree in Nursing or a related field with an unencumbered North Carolina Registered Nurse license is required.  A minimum of two years of experience as a Registered Nurse is required.  Must be able to travel as needed with experience in supervising nurse aides.  Must possess good general computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.  Experience teaching online courses and teaching adults is preferred.  Bi-lingual preferred.

Position Description

Provide effective instruction in teaching Nurse Aide courses.  Teach students to perform basic nursing skills and personal care activities in compliance with appropriate state and national agencies, mandated curriculums, program guidelines and regulations.  Evaluate the competency of each student through laboratory/skill practice and clinical evaluations.  Maintain academic, attendance, and student records.
