An associate degree in office administration or closely related field from an accredited institution. The person employed must have excellent grammar, communication, interpersonal, and computer skills. Excellent customer service skills are required.
Two to five years of related experience or training is preferred.
Duties include maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of student records. The person will be responsible processing admissions applications, preparing incoming academic transcripts for evaluation, typing correspondence to be issued to students and staff, and processing out-going academic transcripts. The employed person will assist students with the Residency Determination Service (RDS) initial interview, reconsideration of status, and the appeal process. The person is expected to be knowledgeable of college student services programs. The person will also serve as the backup switchboard operator daily. Some evening and weekend work is required.
