Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Requirements (Applicant must meet all of the minimum requirements)
1. Must have a minimum of an Associate’s degree;
2. Must have a minimum of one year of full-time or equivalent experience in admissions, enrollment, advisement, recruitment, counseling, financial aid, student activities, mentoring and/or a related area in an educational setting;
3. Must have experience with Microsoft Office Suite;
4. Must have experience with Colleague or equivalent student information system.

1. Two years of full-time or equivalent experience in admissions, enrollment, advisement, recruitment, counseling, financial aid, student activities, mentoring and/or a related area in an educational setting;
2. Experience in community college admissions, recruiting or enrollment management;
3. Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language.

Job Description Summary
Maintains the Admissions Office in a manner reflecting the welcoming and inclusive values of the college; assists students with
statewide residency system tool; manages student applications; generates correspondence to applicants concerning admissions and enrollment steps; coordinates recruitment mailings and communications for Student Services; assists in the execution of all admissions functions and support for recruitment functions of College.
Duties
1. Downloads CFNC college applications and residency information and reviews data for quality assurance.
2. Enters high school transcripts and R.I.S.E. developmental alternative placement data into student records.
3. Assists students with RDS process (Residency Determination System).
4. Generates correspondence to applicants concerning admissions and enrollment steps.
5. Responds to student e-mail inquiries and coordinates staff follow-up for necessary services.
6. Disseminates program information sheets/materials and other admissions information.
7. Assists Coordinator and faculty with the selective and limited program admissions process.
8. Assists with Enrollment Services communications to prospective students and applicants.
9. Uses Informer, Microsoft Excel and other College technology data sources to produce reports for Coordinator and Director of
Enrollment Services.
10. Assists students and visitors with college information, admissions process, registration activities, basic financial aid
information, and properly directs students needing additional assistance.
11. Assists with campus tours, New Student Orientation and College special events.
12. Contributes to the College Vision, Mission, Values, and Welcoming College statement.
13. Supports workforce diversity in all its aspects.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.
