Requires Master’s degree in Business Administration or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution; 5 years’ experience as financial manager or in senior-level community college administrative services.
Knowledge of operation of the NC Community College System, accounting degree, and familiarity with NC State Construction and employment law issues preferred.
Administrative senior position responsible for managing overall business and financial services including Business Office, Personnel Office, Information Technology, Facilities Maintenance (including construction and renovations), Campus Safety and other auxiliary enterprises. Responsible for managing internal and outsourced vendor agreements and preparing county and state budgets. Ensures regulations and guidelines are followed for effective business controls. Coordinate and assist with financial audits.
