Minimum Qualifications
Education requirements:
Associates degree in Welding Technology (or equivalent) required.
Experience requirements:
- 5 years of industry experience
- Prior teaching, preferred
Knowledge of:
- Principles and procedures of academic and institutional program development in relevant field
- Current trends, research, developments, and resources in relevant field
- Federal, state, and local laws, codes, and regulations as they relate to students and teaching
Ability to:
- Create effective instruction for delivery both online and in the classroom while maintaining compliance with ADA standards.
- Communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Work effectively in diverse teams, both within assigned department and cross-functionally across the college
- Interpret and apply college goals, policies, and procedures
- Maintain any relevant equipment and supplies related to instruction
- Utilize course materials and hands-on training exercises.
- Instruct, operate, and maintain training equipment.
- Display excellent interpersonal skills and must be able to interact well with adult learners, high school students, local industry representatives, and other college employees/departments.
- Utilize different methods and mediums in delivering course material for classroom and hands-on laboratory training.

Position Description
Faculty member to provide instruction in assigned courses. Courses may be seated, synchronous, asynchronous, or hybrid. Maintain accurate records (such as attendance, grades, documentation for accreditation, etc.) and submit any corresponding reports according to departmental or college guidelines.
Must be willing to travel to high school locations and work with high school students. Serve on various campus committees and/or as an advisor for student organizations.
Position will be assigned at a high school location.
This is a full time, 10 month position.
Minimum base salary: $4,340 per month, $43,400 annually.
