Minimum Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree from a regionally accredited institution and two years of experience in academic/admissions support, customer service, human resources, and counseling is required.
Preferred Qualifications
A Master’s degree in advising, counseling, higher education administration, leadership, student development, or related field is preferred.
Position Description
The primary responsibility of the academic advisor is to help students develop academic advising plans and identify support services. This position involves advising students about courses, and academic progress, and assisting them in making educational and personal decisions related to graduation and career aspirations.
