Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in chemistry, or a master’s degree + 18 graduate credit hours in chemistry, from a regionally-accredited institution. .
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants with community college or university teaching experience in chemistry, and to applicants with experience working with online course management systems (such as Moodle or Blackboard) and online homework management systems (such as Mastering Chemistry or Connect).
Position Description
Seeking qualified part-time candidates to teach chemistry courses. Duties will include holding office hours, maintaining accurate documentation, and creating and assessing assignments and tests. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff. Work hours may include day or evening classes and labs.
