Blue Ridge Community College is currently accepting applications for a part-time Adjunct Instructor- Economics. The primary purpose of this position is to sustain teaching performance in the credentialed discipline including appropriate course loads. This load will include seated, hybrid, and online courses.

Education: Master’s Degree in the field from an accredited four-year institution or a Master’s Degree in a closely related field with 18 graduate hours in the field.

Experience: All applicants must provide verifiable and relevant professional experience in a workplace setting OR demonstrated instructional/teaching environment.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Current knowledge in the field. Possess strong personal and professional integrity, effective verbal and written communication skills, and a commitment to safety. Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite or similar products, Content Management Systems (CMS), College email and website, web-based computer applications associated with the position.

Physical Demands: The ability to perform all duties associated with the position including, but not limited to lifting, prolonged standing, sitting, bending, stooping, and operating or performing work with associated tools and machines.
