Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Engineering, or a Master's degree plus 18 graduate hours in Engineering, from a regionally-accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants with community college or university teaching experience in engineering, and to applicants with experience teaching online.
Position Description
Seeking qualified part-time candidates to teach engineering courses. Duties will include providing instruction in freshman and sophomore level engineering courses, holding office hours, preparing syllabi and lessons, and creating and grading assignments and tests. Courses may include Introduction to Engineering, Statics, Engineering Graphics, and Numerical Methods for Engineers. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff. Classes may be seated, online, or hybrid. Work hours may include day or evening classes. This position will begin in August 2020.
