Minimum requirements include High School Diploma, NC FAST proficiency, and approval from Department of Social Services.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 2 years experience as income Maintenance Caseworker and/or serving customers using NC FAST preferred. May require additional training through DSS and/or NC Community College System.
Position Description
Responsible for preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, and evaluating assessments in several aspects of the Income Maintenance Caseworker position in order to meet the standards set by the Department of Social Services. Topics will include, but not limited to, client interviewing, Modified Adjusted Gross Income (MAGI) and Food Nutrition Services (FNS) standards, and NC FAST system usage. Introduce students to the local representatives and responsibilities associated with Income Maintenance Caseworker position.
