Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in mathematics, or a master’s degree + 18 graduate credit hours in mathematics, from a regionally-accredited institution.
Preferred Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants with community college or university teaching experience in curriculum-level mathematics, and to applicants with experience working with online course management systems (such as Moodle or Blackboard) and online homework management systems (such as MyMathLab).
Position Description
Seeking qualified part-time candidates to teach curriculum-level mathematics courses, which may include Quantitative Literacy, Statistics, and/or Precalculus. Duties will include holding office hours, maintaining accurate documentation, and creating and assessing assignments and tests. Must have the ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff. Classes may be seated, hybrid, or online. Work hours may include day or evening classes.
