Minimum Qualifications

A Master’s degree in Music or Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in music is required.  Excellent oral and written communication skills, and a proficiency with computer software are required.  Applicant must be a self-starter, team player, and possess the ability to work well with others as well as be able to teach on campus during the day between the hours of 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.  

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual is preferred.

Position Description

Duties include teaching Music Appreciation, Introduction to Jaz, and chorus.  Courses may be required to be taught using traditional methods (seated), online, and hybrid.

If selected for employment, the applicant must submit to a criminal background check and drug screening.
