Minimum Qualifications
A Master’s degree or a Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution is required. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required. Proficiency in computer software is required. Applicant must be a self-starter, a team player, and possess the ability to work well with others.
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual is preferred.
Position Description
The instructor will teach MUS 110 with the possibility to teach MUS 112 or instrumental classes. Primary responsibilities include teaching courses in the subject area and submitting academic reports and records in a timely manner. Applicants must be able to teach day and evening classes, which may include classes offered at area high schools or Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. Courses may be required to be taught using traditional methods (seated), online, and hybrid.
If selected for employment, the applicant must submit to a criminal background check and drug screening.
