  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Current, unrestricted license as a Registered nurse
  • Computer literate and have excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Two calendar years or the equivalent of full-time clinical experience as a registered nurse

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution
  • Teaching experience at the community college level

 

Position Description

GENERAL FUNCTION:

 

The Adjunct Nursing Instructor is a part–time position serving as an adjunct teaching faculty member responsible for instructing students on-campus, in clinical sites, and through other delivery methodologies in accordance with College policy and procedures. The relationship of this adjunct faculty member to the student is one of a leader, teacher, advisor, and facilitator of learning.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

                     

  • Clinical instruction for clinical and simulation laboratory
  • Strong clinical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues

 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
  • Current, unrestricted license as a Registered nurse
