Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree in Office Administration, Business Administration, or related field required. Computer experience with Microsoft Office programs required. Must possess average skills in keyboarding and computer operation. Computer skills to include Windows and Microsoft Office. Must demonstrate good communication skills. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Preferred Qualifications

Position Description
General Description of the Position: The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist, under the direction of the Small Business Center Director, is a full-time, twelve-month position located at the Robinette Building in Rockingham. The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to visitors, students, and employees. They will also be responsible for such clerical duties as required by the Small Business Center Director. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) is required for this position.
Responsibilities and Duties of the Position:
- Serve as receptionist for the Robinette Building and the Leon Levine School of Business and Information Technology.
- Greet and assist students, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Answer phone inquiries and direct calls.
- Assist students, employees, and visitors with locating requested information.
- Assure that building and program resources are current and easily accessible.
- Perform required clerical duties to assist the SBC Director.
- Assist other Robinette Building employees as needed.
- Perform other specific duties as assigned.
