Position Description

GENERAL FUNCTION:

 

Under the supervision of the CEWD Director of Emergency Services Training, this position provides administrative support for Law Enforcement and EMS training. This position will be responsible for student registration, entering contracts, data entry, processing end of course paperwork, and timely reporting.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains high standards of accuracy
  • Provides administrative support to the Director, specifically with instructional contract review, data entry, and grading
  • Takes immediate action to correct error or deficiencies that occur with contracts and end of course paperwork.
  • Assists with internal audits to ensure compliance through quality record keeping
  • Utilizes contract and student databases
  • Provides weekly and monthly summary reports and updates to Director
  • Maintains open communication with the CE Registrar and the Internal Auditor
  • Assist with the Emergency Services Advisory Councils as needed
  • Attends routine one-on-one meetings
  • Maintains good rapport and communication with college personnel, third party credentialing agencies, and advisory team members
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Microsoft Office Experience

 

PREFERRED:

 

  • Community College experience
  • Datatel Experience
  • EMS experience or Criminal Justice
