Position Description

Statement of Primary Purpose

The person in this position supports the admissions onboarding process; conducts pre-enrollment interviews with new students; manages non-treatment FITW faculty initiated reports and supports the operation of the Swain Center.

 

Classification

Office Support, non-exempt, Full-time

 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Perform pre-enrollment telephone interviews with new student applicants to:

- Ensure accuracy of application materials

- Confirm program selections

- Facilitate student access to resources and services as needed

- Identify and record retention profile data

- Provide telephone follow-up to resolve issues with students having incomplete financial aid applications

- Perform other pre-enrollment activities as requested

 

Manage non-treatment FITW faculty reports

- Provide student follow-up contact for all FITW faculty generated reports

- Maintain a record of student service

- Assist students in connecting with internal and external resources to support college retention and completion.

- Assist FITW coaches in providing advisor training and support.

 

Provide administrative support at the Swain Center:

- Greet students and members of the public

- Provide information about college programs and offerings

- Assist students with completion of college applications

- Collect and process continuing education course registrations

- Maintain room schedules

- Submit maintenance work orders

- Administer building and classroom access

- Provide general clerical and assistant support to faculty and staff

Perform other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications
