Minimum Qualifications

Associate Degree from a nationally accredited institution

Preferred Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Office Systems or related field

North Carolina Community College System administrative work experience

Experience with Ellucian/Colleague administrative information system

Position Description

This position will work collaboratively with the dean, faculty and the staff of the Workforce Development division to serve as the administrative assistant for the division and assigned building(s). The administrative assistant is responsible for providing administrative support for credit and non-credit programs, program faculty and professional staff in the division. Additionally, this position will work as a liaison between Rockingham Community College and area businesses and industry, Rockingham County Economic Development, Rockingham County Chambers of Commerce and third-party credentialing agencies.
