Minimum Qualifications

An Associate’s degree is required.  Must have experience with Microsoft products, including Word and Excel.  Strong communication skills to assist students, parents, faculty, staff, and the general public; and one year combined experience in the areas of office, computer, clerical, or customer service are required.  

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in an educational environment is preferred.   A National Career Readiness Certificate and bilingual are preferred.

Position Description

The Admissions and Records Specialist II will perform duties associated with curriculum admissions, registration, and records; to include, processing applications and acceptances, program changes, and ensuring accurate and confidential student academic records.  Under direct supervision of the Director of Admissions and Records, the Specialist will work closely with faculty and staff to manage and retain all curriculum attendance records in accordance to North Carolina Community College System compliance standards.  The Specialist must be able to provide excellent customer service in a courteous and professional manner, and performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Admissions and Records.
