Minimum Qualifications
An Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution is required. One to three years of experience in the areas of records management, customer service, public relations, or a related field is required. The Candidate must be detail-oriented and able to prioritize duties to meet deadlines. The Applicant must have strong interpersonal and excellent customer service skills. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required. The Applicant may be required to work extended hours during peak registration periods.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of FERPA regulations and experience with the Ellucian Colleague system is preferred. Experience working in an educational environment with a diverse population including students, parents, faculty, staff, and the general public is preferred. Bilingual and a National Career Readiness Certificate are preferred.
Position Description
Under direct supervision of the Assoicate Director of Admissions & Records, the Admissions & Records Specialist II will perform various duties associated with curriculum admissions, registration, and records; to include, processing applications and acceptances, program changes, and ensuring accurate and confidential student academic records; and will perform all other duties as assigned. The successful applicant must be able to provide excellent customer service in a courteous and professional manner.
