Position Description
Responsible for advising and recruiting students for the College and Career Program, and the development, coordination and management of transitional programming for program growth and enhancement. Plan, organize and provide advising and support services for all students enrolled in the College and Career Readiness Program (CCR); explain programs, policies, and procedures to all students; identify and implement success strategies; maintain student confidentiality; plan and deliver mid-term advisement sessions to students; develop, coordinate and assist with transitional classes and opportunities for CCR students; coordinate Basic Skills Plus programming; implement strategies to refer/transition students to HRD, WIOA, Continuing Education and Curriculum programs; serve as a liaison with the community to meet CCR training needs; implement strategies for the recruitment and retention of students; and develop strategic marketing plan and distribute informational materials to increase public awareness of CCR. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with work experience in adult education. Proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Daytime position with some scheduled evening work.
Salary: Based on education and experience.
