Prepares the heating, ventilating, air conditioning (AHR) labs for instructional use. Maintains and services lab equipment of AHR technology program. Supervises students, directs tool and equipment use, and conducts facility inventories.

Knowledge of: AHR techniques and equipment; related electromechanical trades including plumbing and electrical; policies and procedures for purchasing and property control; Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies; lab and tool room procedures. Ability to: diagnose AHR equipment malfunctions; read and interpret technical plans, diagrams, and manuals related to mechanical and electrical installations; supervise students during lab activities; work independently; communicate effectively and establish cooperative working relationships in the course of performing assigned duties.
