Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Requirements (Applicant must meet all of the minimum requirements)
- Must have at least a Bachelor degree;
- Must have a minimum of three years of full-time or equivalent work experience in education research, workforce development, economic development, or related field;
- Must have work experience with applied statistical approaches, including regression analysis, significance testing, and descriptive statistics.

- Master’s degree;
- Work experience with statistical software and/or reporting using tools, such as Tableau, SAS, Stata, SPSS, R, Python, Matlab, Power BI, SQL, Access, or Excel;
- Work experience data collection and analysis techniques;
- Work experience developing data visualizations and reports to support decision making;
- Work experience with relational databases and complex software applications;
- Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language.

Job Description Summary
This position is grant-funded through September 30, 2028.
This position conducts analyses of local labor market needs and workforce placement data and prepares user-friendly summary reports that present data in an organized and meaningful way to various stakeholders and decision-makers. Harnessing information from sources such as Lightcast, Colleague, Department of Labor, local employee data from the workforce development board, etc., the role assists the Vice President with data driven decision-making, and proposals while leveraging emerging trends, and new opportunities. The position also assists administration with identifying student and program needs and changes and designing and articulating solutions that result in increased participation in vertically stacked credential completion. Critical to this position is working with the Continuing Education leadership team to design systemic processes that help collect data, create surveys and to tell the story about the return on investment of our various programs and the community impact.
Duties
- Analyzes national, local, and internal data to help make data- informed decisions around programs, needs, changes, and trends.
- Prepares regular reports and presentations to appropriate leadership and community partners to help articulate rationale for requests and shifts in industry for workforce changes.
- Engages with staff and division leadership team to get data on participation and changes in their industry partners and community participation. Helps directors and coordinators collect data around their programs to make data-informed decisions.
- Participates in meetings with community partners and leaders along with the VP to look for new opportunities. Engages in conversations with other colleges on what is successful for them and declining program interest.
- Contributes to the College Vision, Mission, Values, and RISE statement.
- Supports workforce diversity in all its aspects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
