Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum Associate Degree in an IT-related field or an Associate degree with two years related IT work experience

Position Description
The Part-Time Associate System Architect reports directly to the Director of the Enterprise Applications team. Under the direction of senior-level staff, duties include developing and maintaining custom software solutions that facilitate system integrations and business process innovations.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive college vehicles
- Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and push or pull up to 200 pounds on carts or other assistive devices
- Must be able to climb ladders and work at heights up to 12 feet
DUTIES:
- Manage information posted to college websites, including verbiage, graphics, and other multimedia content
- Develop navigation and sitemaps to ensure ease of use
- Manage and publish content delivered to mobile applications
- Work cooperatively with institutional personnel to develop customized web pages that are W3C, ADA Section 508, and WCAG-AA compliant
- Develop web pages using PHP, CSS, JavaScript, and XHTML technologies.
- Integrate websites with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social media tools, integrate websites with other external applications
- Use FTP/SCP file transfer tools
- Create and optimize images and graphics for web content
- Implement information architecture best practices
- Design user-friendly interfaces for websites
- Manage web servers, including Internet Information Services (IIS), Apache web server, LigHTTPD web servers
- Contribute to the development of web portals using the .NET Framework
- Contribute to the development of web portals using PHP Programming or other server-side programming languages
- Create and maintain technical documentation
- Debug issues based on documentation, logs, and symptoms described by the end-users
- Manage and design a variety of relational database systems and support integrations requiring SQL
- Research and integrate solutions with Ellucian Colleague Multi-Value Unidata databases to support reporting and integrations using the UniQuery query language
- Support, and maintain Linux and MySQL servers
- Work in cloud computing environments including vSphere, AWS, and Azure
- Provide maintenance for servers running Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Other projects as related to the Enterprise Applications Team.
