Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Education, Counseling, or Business Administration or a closely related field or equivalent with three years of increasingly responsible admission experience including heavy public contact and significant coordination of responsibilities.
Communication skills, both oral and written are necessary. Must have expert proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).

Position Description
Plan, coordinate, execute, and continuously evaluate all integrated admission initiatives.
Coordinate with faculty, staff, and administration regarding admission requirements.
Coordinate with the Marketing and Public Relations department to write and design communications to disseminate to the public regarding admissions.
Solve problems of a sensitive nature requiring interpretation of policies and procedures.
Devise and implement evaluation tools to demonstrate the effectiveness of admission activities.
Plan and coordinate effective admission events to reach FTCC target markets.
Coordinate with the Admissions Office, Senior Director of Military and Veterans Programs, Coordinator of High School Connections, Faculty, Deans, and Department Chairpersons to survey admission activities and needs.
Create and update the admissions webpage.
Advise students in areas of admission requirements, program requirements, admission status, and the transfer of credit from other institutions.
Interpret and apply College admission standards and policies to determine student placement, specific program eligibility, and academic standing.
Prepare regular data reports for the Dean of Enrollment Management, Associate Vice President for Student Services, and Senior Vice President for Academic and Student Services.
Give oral presentations to student groups on campus and to civic and professional groups in the community regarding FTCC programs.
Audit applicant files for completeness and accuracy; contact students for more information as necessary.
Serve as a liaison between students and faculty in an attempt to equate and meet the needs of both groups.
Respond to requests for information; assist students and staff with research, information verification and problem solving.
Refer students to outside community agencies as appropriate for guidance and support; coordinate internal support services including tutorial, interpreting, and note taking support.
Conduct annual training workshops for FTCC faculty and staff regarding admission standards.
Provide exemplary internal and external customer service.
