The International Student Assistant will work with F1/ M1 International Students prior to and upon arrival to the United States, advising on immigration regulations, student visa requirements, academic policies, and course selection.
This position assists the Primary Designated Official/ PDSO on planning and coordinating International orientation, campus events such as International Week, and assisting students in the overall transition to the new culture and their success at GTCC.
Being effective in this position requires a high level of compassion, energy, and organizational skills.
This individual performs additional duties as determined by the PDSO and the Director of Student Success and Retention Services.
