- High School Diploma or GED with Federal Communications Commission General Radiotelephone Operator License (FCC GRTOL) or National Center for Aerospace and Transportation Technology-Aviation Electronics Technology Certification (NCATT/AET)
-Three years of recent industry experience in aviation electronics.
-Experience maintaining and troubleshooting aviation equipment.
-Associates degree in Avionics or Electronics from a regionally accredited institution.
-Greater than three years of recent industry experience in aviation electronics.
-Lab/shop experience in an aviation electronics program.
The Laboratory Assistant is primarily responsible for assisting with the supervision of aviation electronics students in the laboratory environment to ensure successful completion of class outcomes in a safe environment. This is a non-teaching position. Additionally, this individual is required to ensure all equipment, tooling, and expendable supplies are in place and sufficient for the lab requirements. During class sessions, the individual must have the technical acumen to ensure the equipment used in laboratory is operational.
