3. Proficiency in a foreign language such as Spanish, an East Slavic language, and/or American Sign Language
Position Description
Job Description Summary
Assists students and visitors in the K. Ray Bailey Student Services Center through face-to-face, phone, and electronic
communications.
Duties
1. Provides front-desk services to students, visitors, and College employees, supporting admissions, registration, advising,
support services, and other Student Services activities.
2. Provides students and visitors with in-depth information related to curriculum enrollment and registration and provides first-
tier information about all other College services.
3. Assists students in the Enrollment Lab with online procedures related to enrollment, registration, and student accounts.
4. Provides superior service to all visitors and College employees; acts as a representative of the College to all visitors and as a
representative of Student Services to all College employees.
5. Manages the flow of visitor and student traffic within Student Services, ensuring that students and visitors are routed to the
appropriate departments according to Student Services’ procedures.
6. Maintains an organized, positive, and inviting environment at the Information Desk area at all times.
7. Assists with managing the ID Card Station and distributes College ID cards to students and employees.
8. Assists with data entry, outbound calls, inbound calls, email correspondence, and live web chat, as needed.
9. Assists with the cleaning and scanning of historic student files, as needed.
10. Processes transcript orders using third-party transcript ordering software (Parchment).
11. Processes registration changes and overrides.
12. Assists with graduation processing and commencement ceremony.
13. Contributes to the College Vision, Mission, Values, and R.I.S.E statement.
14. Supports workforce diversity in all its aspects.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.
