POSITION

Assistant Veteran Affairs Certifying Officer (29 hours/week)

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY

The Assistant Veteran Affairs Certifying Officer works under the direction of the VA Coordinator and provides immediate assistance to veteran students utilizing any VA Benefit.  This position is primarily located within the Student Center at the main campus (New Bern campus).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred
  • Experience working with military service members
  • Military Veteran preferred

SALARY/BENEFITS

  • $18.00/hour
