Position Description

Haywood Community College has served the Haywood County community since 1965. Since then, our employees have worked to fulfill our vision of enriching everyone through education.
Haywood Community College is a great place to go to college, and it’s also a great place to work! We have an opportunity for someone to be an integral part of leadership transition following a long-term employee’s upcoming retirement.
With the intention of a seamless transition, we are launching a search for an Associate Business Office Director. This person will work with the current Director, who will at the end of calendar year 2024 be stepping into a Vice President of Business Operations role. It is rare to have this robust, in-person training experience.
The plan with this role is that it will transition to the Business Office Director position. Upon that transition occurring, this position will not be backfilled.
